Semi Permanent Make (SPMU) is a safe form of tattooing, in which pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin to enhance or reshape facial features. A sterile, single use needle is used. It builds definition and enhances natural beauty as opposed to completely replacing makeup. SPMU is also known as micropigmentation, dermal pigmentation, or cosmetic tattooing.
SPMU can last for 3–5 years without a Color Boost, but it's recommended to get a Color Boost every 8–18 months to keep the color looking bolder. The longevity of SPMU depends on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Your first treatment includes a touch up from 4 weeks after your initial procedure. This is the perfecting appointment. SPMU is a 2 stage process, so you must be patient.
You will not be able to receive SPMU if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, have used Accutane within a year or are under 18. A detailed medical form will be filled in to ensure no other contraindications.
